SMS Terms & Conditions

Overview
These Terms & Conditions govern your participation in our SMS messaging program managed by the Kupuna Paws Foundation. By opting in to receive SMS messages, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Consent to Receive Messages
By opting in through our secure volunteer portal, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated SMS messages from our organization at the mobile number you provided. Consent to receive these messages is not a condition of participating in any volunteer service.
Types of Messages
Our SMS program provides:
- Service-related notifications and shift updates
- Alerts and reminders regarding your scheduled volunteer activities
- Operational communications and support-related messages
Message Frequency & Rates
- Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your volunteer scheduling activity and specific service needs.
- Rates: Message and data rates may apply as determined by your mobile carrier plan.
Opt-Out and Re-subscription Methods
You may manage or cancel your SMS participation at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any SMS message.
- Updating your notification preferences within your User Settings in our secure web portal.
If you have previously opted out, you may re-subscribe by texting START to our number, and by ensuring the “Text” option is selected within your User Settings in our web portal. Once both conditions are met, you will receive a confirmation message.
